The sung verses have the same tune and cadence of the songs I made up to sing to myself at age 7. Perhaps for this reason “blow by blow” will continue to rattle in my brain, probably occupying the same real estate as the numerous “Friday” parodies (importantly including one by a young Bob Dylan).
But what of this? Tupac Shakur soundtrack for marching Taliban “freedom fighters?” I don’t see a parallel here: dependency on a paternalistic welfare state plus surveillance by a police state using the Rockefeller Drug laws to persecute crack users and distributors? And the Taliban? Huh? And what’s with the gunny sack masks?
There’s a paper in this, somewhere. Put your favorite terrorism and rap mashups in the comments, pls.
