good clip. if this were ten years ago it would have been circulated in transcript form and sooner or later misattributed to a more famous comic. however unlike a transcript if you were to title this clip as being by, say, dave barry, everyone watching it would think “i know what dave barry looks like and that ain’t him.” so the transition of the internet to being based on usenet and similar plain text protocols to things like flash video may inhibit the sort of random mutation to innovations that was rampant in the 1990s.
