after censorship, musicians and music scenes may draw heavily from the classical (folk or European or hybrid folk-European) tradition.  musicians may have received formal training in conservatories or from tutors working within the traditional canon, they may use the classical instrumentation and scoring technologies, they may use performance spaces and recording technologies associated with or developed by classical musicians, etc.
