the really charming thing about this website, which purports to show “books that make you dumb (or smart)” is that there is a transparent correlation between race and book preferences, and between race and SAT score, that is right there on the surface of the graph, and remains unmentioned.
and how did ‘dystopian’ become a genre? and Little Women is classified as “Chick Lit” and not among “Classics”? Apparently, the author doesn’t care that I hate the genre classifications.
